Venida

Branding and Package Design

Venida

Venida is a brand selling Honduran style horchata. Honduran horchata is traditionally a dairy-free milk beverage. At grocery stores, usually only powder horchata mix can be found in the “ethnic” or “Hispanic” aisle. With the increase in the dairy-free milk market, this packaging highlights the beverage’s dairy-free aspect while incorporating designs authentic to Honduras.

Logo Lockups

Venida is derived from the Spanish word “Bienvenidos” which translates to “welcome” in English. When exclamation points are used in Spanish, an upside-down one is placed at the beginning of the word, and a right-side-up one is at the end

Packaging

Authentic, refreshing, and welcoming are the three words to describe Venida. Adding a smaller label on the bottle’s neck emphasizing “dairy-free” will catch the eye of more consumers. Once they are drawn in, the pattern, logo, and explanation on the back of the main label create an opportunity to showcase an authentic Honduran drink and welcome consumers to experience the culture
